Alleviating Procedures for All Foot and Ankle Conditions

  • Dropped metatarsals — This isolated callus on the ball of your foot can be treated with custom orthotics or corrective surgery to reposition the bone.
  • Neuroma — If you experience a burning, tingling, or numb sensation between your 3rd and 4th toes, you may have a neuroma. Rubbing the ball of your foot may provide temporary relief, but we can treat it permanently by injecting a nerve-deadening agent or with a surgical procedure to remove the affected nerve.
  • Ingrown toenail — Although ingrown nails can develop in any toe, they're more common in your great toe. Several medical remedies are available, including removing part of the nail with a local anesthetic and using a chemical to prevent its regrowth.
  • Pinched callus — Sometimes, a bone spur beneath a callus on the outside border of your great toe creates irritation. With a simple surgical procedure, we can remove the painful bone spur, thus providing you with relief.
  • Plantar warts — A plantar wart is the result of a viral infection. It appears as a painful bump or callus on your hand or foot.
  • Pump bump or Haglund's deformity — An enlarged swelling, redness, or bump on the back of your heel may be an occurrence of this condition. It's more common in women, where it's associated with wearing pumps. Our solutions include physical therapy modalities, stretching, orthotics, and occasionally permanent removal through a surgical procedure.
  • Tendonitis — Inflammation of your tendon or the surrounding tissue can cause swelling, redness, and pain when you move your ankle or foot. Treatments depend on the severity of the condition but can include immobilization with a soft cast or boot, custom orthotic inserts, or injections.
